Jay (James E.) Dortch is the Managing Partner of Financial Strategies Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 1994; he offers investments and advisory services and is a branch manager of Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation, a registered broker/dealer and Registered Investment Advisor. Jay has earned the Life Underwriting Training Fellow (LUTCF) designee. Jay is a graduate of The University of Kentucky with a B.A. in Advertising and Marketing. He serves on The Leadership Cabinet for Kosair Children's Hospital, he and his wife also serve on the Family Advisory Council for Kosair Children's Hospital and Jay also sits on the Board of Directors for CureSearch (which is a national organization that conducts pediatric cancer research for more than 220 children's hospitals). He lives in Louisville with his wife Cheryl and their two children Logan and Laurel.

Brian Dawahare is a Partner of Financial Strategies Group. He has been in the financial services industry since 1997; he offers investment and advisory services as an Advisory Representative of Lincoln Financial Securities Corporation, is a registered broker/dealer and Registered Investment Advisor, and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designee. He worked as a financial professional since earning finance and management degrees from Transylvania University. He lives in Louisville with his wife Tracey and three children Allyson, Tyler and Holt.

Carla Gohmann is the Office Manager of Financial Strategies Group. She has been in the financial services industry since 1997. Carla works with Strategic Alliance Partners throughout Kentucky and coordinates client services between Partners and national providers. Prior to working with FSG, Carla had 8 years in the banking industry and an additional 8 years in human resources. A native of southern Indiana, she attended Indiana University Southeast and the American Institute of Banking College of Business. Carla is actively involved with the Shamrock Greyhound Placement Foundation in Louisville, Lexington, and southern Indiana.
